I'm not one for posting pictures of myself, but for those of you who have asked, here it is...the baby bump. I'm heading into my 5 month. I'm feeling pretty good and finally have some of my energy back. Carson took this picture of me the other day so I thought I'd share.

Who is this man...and what did you do with my husband?

(MaryAnn I thought you would appreciate this)
Last Saturday Dave kept saying he was craving a homemade cherry pie. Well I didn't think anything of it, except I knew I wasn't about to bake a pie from scratch. So I went off to take one of my 4 hour prego naps and as I arose I smelled something baking. Well to my surprise, there it was a cherry pie. Dave made this pie from scratch. He rolled out the dough, filled it, topped it with more dough, the whole nine yards. Now that I know he can bake a pie he'll definitely have to step it up in the kitchen a little more.

Love Songs

I thought this would be kind of fun. Do you and your spouse have a"love song". You know, like a wedding song. If you do what is it??? I think couples songs can tell a lot about their love story. I would say our song is "Lady" by Kenny Rogers. I know kinda weird. The story goes....I bought Kenny Rogers greatest hits up at Utah State because I love the song "The Gambler"-you know for those long Wendover weekends. Anyway~ When Dave and I were dating I would make him listen to this C.D. (which is actually a really good C.D.) all of the time. One day in the car he told me that "Lady" was our song and if you listen to the words it really does explain our love story. Dave was at a place in his life where he needed to find me and walah I just happened to pop right into his life. Okay kinda cheesy. Anyway~can't wait to read your answers.
I love this man!
I just wanted to take a sec and brag on my hubby for a sec. Those of you who know Dave well, know that he is a super good father. His family comes first no matter what. He has a pretty cush job, but when he's away it kills him. Dave supports all of us in whatever we do. He supports me as a wife, a YW president, an emotional-hormonal pregnant Mom....and unlike most guys only complains if I take his kids from him for too long. He lets me take 5 hour naps, take off for the weekend with friends, supports my spending habit, and enjoys eating out just as much as I do. He loves me soooo much that he took all of next week off of work, bought me a plane ticket, and is watching all three kids while I head up to Montana to play with my sisters and Mom. Now isn't he the best. I just love my big ole' Dave!

No cell phone....are you kidding me!

What is a mother to do??? I'm without a cell phone until Saturday. Dave's phone broke and he needed one for his trip before he left. So of course I had to hand my phone over for the week. I can't believe how lost I feel without it. I guess it's just knowing that there's that option is a good feeling. One things for sure, our minutes will stay low and I won't be calling my Mom and sisters as much. Lucky for them!

Hooray for season premiers

Yay, I'm so excited for the new season of Dancing with the Stars. I can't wait to see who does well and who totally bombs it. My guess for winners would be Kim Kardashian and Lance Bass so far, but who knows, they may be horrible. I guess we'll see tomorrow night.

Hot Mamma Cheri

I was in need of a girl's night out, so when my friend Cheri asked if I would join her at a fitting for her cancer awareness fashion show, I was all in! Our friend Amy joined us and we ended up having a really good time. Cheri totally looked like a hot mamma in her outfits and Amy and I had a great time being the judges. We ended the night with dinner at Osaka Hibachi Grill. It was a fun night and so nice to get out of my pregnancy slump.
