So I must admit I'm a fan with a little bit of a crush....Everyone has a little ROCKER in them somewhere right???

Nice Pitch #8!!!

It's no surprise that Carson is a good ball player, Dave and I brag about him plenty. So I'll make this short and sweet....We definitely have a ball player on our hands. He played up this year and luckily he has a dad who knows the game well so he really keeps on top of the coaches about over playing him. Carson had a great season, gets to play on the All-Star team, and his team took second in the playoffs. Go METS!!!

Cara's First Dance Recital....
and many more to come~!
Carson and Ryleigh were so proud of Cara. I was proud of Daddy and Carson for making it all the way through the 3 hour program. Even I was "over it" after a while!!! Ryleigh loved every minute of it of course, and can't wait to finally turn 5 so she can start in the fall.
Cara has a natural talent for entertaining. She doesn't get the least bit nervous to stand in front of a crowd. We all know she does not get that from me.
She had one tap and one jazz number and she "rocked it out" on both of them. She was just recently asked to be in the company's competitive program. We'll see how that goes....not sure I'm ready for smaller costumes and more booty shaking!!!

Ryleigh's Preschool Graduation

Yay, Ryleigh is on her way to Elementary school~She is definitely ready too. She was one of the oldest in her class and towards the end of the year it started to become a trial every morning getting her to school because she was BORED!!! She's so excited to join Carson and Cara at Tara Oaks and can't wait to be in kindergarten. Lucky for us mom's out here, kindergarten is full day...YAY!!! Way to go Ryleigh. You're the cutest little graduate and we're so proud of you!

FIELD DAY 2010---TARA OAKS ELEMENTARY

"3 Piggy Opera"

At the school my kids go to they do a Kindergarten musical called the "3 Piggy Opera", a spin off of the "Three Little Pigs". Cara was the narrator in the play and did a wonderful job. She is so funny because she had the whole entire musical memorized with every one of her classmates parts. She would use dinner time every night (for weeks) as her dress rehearsal. She definitely loves to perform---does not get that from her dad or I. We were so proud of her!!!

Cara's class made these cute pillows for their craft project a few weeks back. I love it! I'm always looking for craft ideas so I thought I'd share this with all of my fellow crafty moms!

So the time has finally arrived....Carson is now old and big enough to mow the lawn. This may be a happy day for some of you but I absolutely love cutting the grass so as much as I didn't want to hand over my obsession with the lawn mower, I knew it was time to hand this kid of mine some extra responsibilities and another way for him to earn money. He's doing pretty good and loves getting his cash at the end of the job.

Utah Continued...

My sister and I didn't make three of our flights on the way home (joys of flying stand-by), so we decided to head down to temple square while we waited and take in the beautiful weather. I was excited to get to use my camera on one of the most beautiful and meaningful places I can think of. We finally made it out of SLC that evening and no more airports for me until June...when I take everyone home to Utah~confirmed seats of course, YAY!!!

UTAH for the weekend!!!

For my Birthday Dave sent me home to Utah for the weekend. I'm very lucky to have a husband who is so willing to watch the kids while I go and play with my family for a few days. While I was in Utah my sister Alyson blessed her little boy Isaac, we ate at just a few of my favorite restaurants, I slept in lots, watched some Jazz, and took a quick afternoon trip down to temple square. It was fun to be there with all of my siblings and parents and I also got to see lots of family members I haven't seen in a very long time. All in all, a great little getaway!!!
Mom, Dad, and kids.
My sister Alyson with her son Isaac on his big day!~Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks....Isaac's of course!
My sisters and I with our Grandpa Hooper. Glad we got to sneak a pose in with him. I don't get to see him very often.

When I went home I took pictures of these portraits my Mom had on her wall of me and my sisters in our wedding dresses. Just thought I'd show how the style has changed in between the three of us. Obviously I'm first, Natalie 2nd, and Alyson 3rd. Fun memories!!!
