Our friend and neighbor Brandon Smith has the cutest little car. He's been so kind to take my kids on several rides this week. They have a blast being with their Smith buddies! I just loved this pic so I thought I'd share.

Carson had a great time on Field Day, but I must admit....the Field Day's are nothing like they used to be, at least when I was growing up. What happened to the teachers being involved, yummy carnival food, prizes, and a day full of chaos. Just wondering???

CaraAnn's Preschool Graduation

Cara is moving on....she's now officially done with preschool and heading off to Kindergarten this fall. Holy cow how they grow up so fast. Cara had a cute little program where she sang so loud and told me she didn't get any stage fright (a term she learned on WowWowWubsy). She is definitely ready to move on. I think this girl could even hang with first graders if she wanted.

We loved Miss Sally. We only hope we can be so lucky to get her again when Ryleigh's enters preschool.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game.......

For Family Home Evening last Monday we took the kids to a Memphis Redbirds game. It was one lucky night for Carson. He caught a foul ball, caught a T-shirt, won a free pizza, and got caught dancing and was placed up on the jumbo-tron. It was so fun to see Carson perform in front of the fans not worrying about what anyone thought. Dave and I were pretty envious and wished we were that carefree. All in all a great night!

The Memphis Zoo

Memphis has a great zoo. Since playgroup was coming to an end, we decided to take the girls on a field trip for their last playgroup. We've been involved with a great group of Mom's and girls this year. My girls are definitely going to miss their "girl time"!

Carson and Dave headed off to the Father and Sons campout last weekend. Luckily there was no rain, just lots of mud and bugs. Carson looks forward to this every year. He has a blast with his Dad. This picture shows that Dave (and Nicole) can cook up some pretty mean foil dinners. YUM, YUM!

Just a few things that have made

me SUPER happy this week....

Have you seen this show??? My friend Lacey introduced me to the show "The Locator". It's on the WE t.v. network. I love it! This man, Troy Dunn, helps to relocate and reunite loved ones. It's definitely a tear jerker but makes me smile. (sidenote: my friend told me that he is an LDS bishop. I just wonder where he finds the time to do both. pretty neato.)
Dave bought us (for Mom's day) tickets to go to Billings. I know I just saw my sisters last month, but come one now, no one can ever have too much sister time. Cara and Ryleigh think we're going to Hannah Montana. HAHA!

Last~I've managed to stay away from THESE for 4 whole weeks, yep one month! It's been super hard, but I'm so happy I've finally found the will power to walk away.

All in all, a pretty good week!

The month of May=BASEBALL!

It's spring time and that means one thing for us, baseball season has begun. I must admit that I complain often about practices and games but really I love it. I have turned into a sports junky. It's so fun to watch your kid do something he's good at. His team is 6-1 right now. Carson is pitching and playing 3rd base. He loves it and we love watching him. Go Marlins or as coach says, Go Fish!

Cara has finally learned how to ride her bike without training wheels. I decided one night just to go out and work on it super hard with her. She got it within minutes. But I must say that Dave will definitely be teaching them how to drive!

The first to graduate.........Congrats Aaron!

So my brother Aaron graduated from the "U" yesterday and I just want to congratulate him on a job well done. He's the first out of us five (I'm sure my parents are so proud LOL). I'm so happy for Aaron and his little family. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. I for sure think they should apply to Southern graduate schools :) Wish we could have been there to help celebrate Aaron. Can't wait to see pics. We love you! Oh and to all my Ward friends out here, GO UTES!!! HAHA
