MIRROR IMAGE TWINS
I was watching 60 Minutes last night when a story about the Bryan Twins, a doubles tennis team, came on. I was totally into it when they started reporting on how they weren't only identical twins but they were Mirror Image twins. My sister Natalie and I are the same. It was fun to listen to their similarities and differences and compare them to ours.
Definition of Mirror Image Twins~
Mirror image twins are monozygotic, twins that form from a single fertilized egg. When the split occurs late - more than a week after conception - the twins can develop reverse asymmetric features. For example, they may be right- and left-handed, have birthmarks on opposite sides of their body, or have hair whorls that swirl in opposite directions. In theory, if the twins faced each other, they would appear to be exact reflections of each other. About 25% of identical twins are mirror image twins.
So in our case this is how it goes~
Nicole right handed, Natalie left
Nicole's knees go in, Natalie's go out
Natalie taller, Nicole little bit shorter
Natalie's feet smaller, Nicole's bigger

So who do you think is who??? Immediate family can't guess!

Spring Break
With me not being 100% yet we decided to take Spring Break pretty easy. If you asked my kids they would probably say it was the most boring week ever, and I would have to agree. The only big highlight of the week was visiting the Memphis Zoo. It was a mad house!!! Note to self~Do not go to the zoo over Spring Break!!! (sure wish I had an editing program that could give my arms a tan and a tone...oh well....seriously gotta love pregnancy!)

The Young Women presented me with this super cute VALUE charm bracelet a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was so cute and love that it will go with everything. This bracelet means more to me than they'll ever know. Love those ladies and girls!!!

TIME TO PUT MY CAMERA TO USE!!!
I finally felt good enough to take this beautiful girl of mine out and get some pictures. It's amazing what a warm, sunny day can do for the soul! I had fun taking these and thought for an amateur that they turned out pretty cute!

Trying to keep up!!!
These have been the latest craze at our house~Silly Bands & Twinkle Toe Shoes. My girls just love their light up, sparkly "twinkle toes" ( by Sketcher if any of you are interested*thanks G-ma!) and these "silly bands" are just out of control!!! Is it just here in TN or are you other Mom's seeing this craze too??? Good thing these bracelets are cheap. I can afford this trend, but I know the expensive, jaw dropping trends are right around the corner and they will be asking for those before I know it (Ipod's, cell phones, Seven jeans,) UGH!!!

Saying goodbye....for now!

Two Sundays ago I was released from my calling as Young Women's President. It was such a bittersweet moment for me. After I found out I was expecting I decided that I needed to really just take care of myself and eliminate any stresses in my life making sure that I did all I could to hopefully deliver a healthy, full term, baby. So I actually went into my Bishop and asked to be released. It was very hard and I felt like such a slacker but I know it's okay to put myself and my family first and I felt like it was time.

It's been a little rough walking into church almost feeling useless in a way (which I was told I would feel), but at the same time it's been a very nice break. I've been in the YW's organization for 12 years, never serving in any other auxiliary. I do miss the girls like crazy. It's very emotional just being cut off from them in a way. I love them to death and hope only the best for them. They have taught me so much and I was so blessed to serve them and hope to one day serve them again. I'm excited for whatever the future has in store for me!!!

Expecting Baby #4!!!
I honestly thought I was done having children, but of course I had one weak moment of playing mind games (yes we're done, no maybe we're not) and wallah there was a "plus sign". I haven't been feeling so great, but as we all know that's always a good sign. It's funny how you forget so much....like how tired I am. I mean seriously is it safe for Mom's to really be this tired!!!! I just know that when Dave isn't home that someone up above must be watching over my children...because I am one big walking zombie. I'm excited for what's in store for our family. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well....and so far it has. Thanks to you all for your well wishes and prayers!!!
