EXPECTING BABY #4
We're excited to announce that our family of 5 will soon become 6. Most of my family already knows that I'm pregnant but I held off on telling everyone else basically just to pass time. It seems like the longer I wait the quicker the time goes by. It's all mental when you're prego! Our little one is due the first week in March. We're super excited and I'm a little relieved to almost have the first 4 months over with. One thing I can say is it has definitely been a different pregnancy so far. Not because I'm more sick or having complications, but it's my age.....Having a baby in your 20's is a piece of cake compared to your 30's. I'm BEAT!!!! We're so blessed and so excited for this next chapter in our lives. Lets just hope my legs can stay as skinny as this girl in the picture, but I'm gonna go with a big YEAH RIGHT!!!

Cara's 1st Day of School

Cara was so ready for school to start. She's so funny, I pulled up to the school, she opened the door and said "bye Mom", I was like "hold on, let me at least get a picture of you". She's definitely not going to have any problems being a big girl.
She's attending the Collierville Presbyterian Day School three times a week from 9am-2pm. Her teacher is Miss Sally and she's in the Pre-K class. I'm so glad she likes it. Ryleigh's a little lonesome now, but it's been kind of nice to have just Ryleigh and Mommy time.

"90210"

"Beverly Hills 90210"
So it takes a strong person to admit that they were absolutely HOOKED to this teen drama in the 90's. You know who you are.... most of you who read this blog are around my age and were probably just as addicted as I was. In fact when you're flipping the stations and see reruns you may even tune in every once in a while, just as I do. The question is.....Will you be watching the remake? YES, I'll be tuning in, but I'm sure it will probably be a disappointment. I loved 90210, and maybe love the thought of it even more now because it brings back some fun memories. I know you can't beat living through the 80's, but at least us 90's kids had our 90210~!

Are you ready for some football....

It's about that time of year again....Football Season. Meaning, if you live in the South-turn the ringers off, cut the phone lines, stock up on the beer and pretzels (okay maybe not us) and don't even think about knocking on a neighbors door on a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday night. It's crazy the way these folks get into here, but I love it. It's pure entertainment and they cheer louder and harder for my son which makes it even better.
Carson's is #58 on the Colts this year. It's his first year wearing pads and a helmet so it's taking a little getting used to, but he's doing awesome. He eats up whatever sport he's playing at the moment. He puts his heart into 100% and really respects his coaches and team mates. They won their first game 35-0 last night, a great way to start off the season. Carson cracks me up though, most kids sleep with a blanket, stuffed animal, etc. Not my son, he sleeps with his football. Talk about dedication. GO COLTS!

First Day of School...belated

Once again, I am so behind in blogging. Carson started school last Monday ( the 11th) and I've neglected to post his 'first day of school' picture. He's a big third grader now. Wow, our baby is definitely growing up. Carson's a good kid, and hopefully shows that this year to his new teacher Mrs. Page. Next year we'll have two in school. Yay, for Mommy....can't wait!

DO YOU HAVE A NICKNAME???

So for those of you wondering who Vince is from the last post, well that's me. Dave is the King of giving nicknames. I was awarded with the name Vince when I delivered Carson. At that time Dave called him little Vinny and me Vince. I don't know where he got Vince from, but it has stuck for 8 years now. The funny thing is that I'm so used to it, that I answer to that now. So I thought it would be fun to see how many of you have nicknames and why. I can't wait to read your comments!

11 years of memories

I've been so busy lately that I totally forgot to mention our Anniversary. Dave and I celebrated 11 very blessed years on August 7th. We got back from Utah the night before so we didn't have much planned. We decided last minute to get a babysitter, grab a bite to eat, and go see the Dark Knight. Not very romantic, but I think you can all agree that time spent alone with your spouse is priceless no matter what you're doing. Maybe next year will be a little better planned out.

Happy Anniversary Dave!

Love, VINCE
