Easter Morning

Look at these two very handsome boys. The Easter bunny treated Evan to a few onesies, baby cookies, his first big boy bottle of juice, and some finger foods. Carson was so excited to get a new red Phifen necklace, batting gloves, and of course all the Reese's he could possibly eat.
The Bunny brought the girls lip gloss, bubbles, panties, wallets, earrings, and of course candy. Their favorite was the movie "Tangled" though, they couldn't run up the stairs quick enough to watch it.
Daddy wasn't able to spend Easter morning with us but the Easter bunny made sure he got all of the left over hard boiled eggs haha!!! Funny story--we had almost 40 hard boiled eggs. I had to make them for another activity...so lets just say after a few days of smelling eggs in the fridge (no matter how much I love them) they were trashed!!!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Easter egg coloring this year was done at about 11 at night...not a good thing, but you can't have Easter without dying eggs!!! Carson's always have some sort of sports theme to them and this year it was Memphis, Utah, and UT Knoxville. Carson is actually our artist. He takes his egg dying very serious haha!!!
Well this pretty much explains how Evan felt about the whole thing...." I hate Eggs!!!"

The girls think anything that has to do with color and messes is the best fun ever. I'm on pins and needles the whole time wondering when my white cupboards are going to be splashed with a tye dye of colors. Most Mom's wouldn't do this at 11 o'clock at night, but this Mom LOVES egg salad sandwiches so it had to be done haha!!!

Carson's first overnite!!!

Photobucket

Carson finally made it to his first Boy Scout overniter. As many of you know the whole scouting thing has been DRAMA for us. Scouts is on the same night as baseball....but to make a long story short--Dave talked to the Coach, he was kind enough to change practice nights, and Carson is now able to participate on Wednesdays with his pack. I was a little nervous to send him at first because he was going to be the only one without his dad there but with a little help from our Ward Family, things worked out great. Carson came home with lots of memories, new frienships, and two ticks. Hopefully he now has a new respect for the program....I know after seeing all of his signatures that I do!!!

Every once in a while I walk into the kitchen to find my girls doing dishes....doesn't happen often but when it does it puts a smile on my face. Who wouldn't want a live-in dishwasher this cute!!!

Mobile Uploads

(Right to Left)

1-Ryleigh on her field trip to the Children's Museum....They had a FEDEX plane in there and Ryleigh was so excited to send this pic to her Dad. She sat in the cockpit and decided being a pilot just wasn't going to be her thing :)

2-So those of you who know my hair....know that it's thick, poofy, and never curls like this...just frizz curl. I went into visit my friend Jayme and she decided she was going to try a new technique on me....a relaxer and then hot rolling it and sitting under a blow dryer. For the first time (4 hours later) I felt like I had hair like everyone else. It only lasted for about 3 hours but I loved it. Victoria's Secret runway show...here I come--Not!!!!

3- We live in tornado alley....and most of the time I'm pretty calm with the whole weather thing, however this particular night I can honestly say I felt my house shaking...so off to the closet we went. Dave was out of town but we still managed. Luckily no harm was done and my kids ended up sleeping through the whole thing. Thanks Mom for being my weather man as my TV was out.

4-Cara on her field trip to the Memphis Botanic Gardens. Here she is trying her first and maybe last ever taste of caviar. She actually didn't mind it, but unless she has a different budget than most of us she probably won't be having caviar anytime soon.

Cara had a PTA performance up at the school last week. They sang three songs and presented their principal with a gift from the school (she's retiring). She did so good and I'm so bummed because I was holding Evan, and amongst his crazinees, I forgot to turn my flash on and the whole time I thought I was recording and never pushed record. So this is what I have....Sorry to the Grandma's, I really tried to get her singing. What a cutie she is!!!
