Happy 4Th!!!
I have the funniest Primary class...I teach the 4/5 year olds and they just crack me up. Ryleigh is usually the only girl there and I think she loves it~she can tell them all what to do...and for the most part they listen. On the 4th we talked about our country and the blessings we have living here and then we made these goofy firework hats. The kids loved them.
To celebrate as a family, we headed over to Johnson Park and watched the fireworks, listened to an awesome blues band, and ate so much grease...no regrets though. When I'm pregnant Dave is too. We'll count calories another day!

Ready for Kindergarten!!!
Ryleigh had her Pre-K check up a few days ago and she's healthy as can be and ready to go to Kindergarten. She's in the 90th percentile for her height and 50th for her weight. Pretty perfect! She's so excited to be attending the "big school" with her brother and sister. Wow, can't believe our baby (for now) is getting so big.

It's going to pinch...but just for a minute!!!
So my Dad's gonna die when he reads this, but I gave in and let my girls get their ears pierced. They have asked several times and chickened out several times but for some reason this time they went through with it. Ryleigh went first and did so good that Cara decided she was in. A cute lady in our Ward works at Wal Mart and has been piercing ears for ages...she did a great job and my girls love them. No regrets!!!

Utah #3

Jessica and Brett "Tie the Knot"
To end our summer vacation, we headed down to Southern Utah for my cousin Jessica's wedding. It was a great night and she looked beautiful as always. My girls had an amazing time and Cara even caught the bouquet which made her night of course. Thanks to Cassie my girls danced all of their energy away and learned the "carwash" dance which they're still doing. It was so much fun to be part of Jessica and Brett's special day. I haven't been able to attend a family wedding for about 5 years now, and I hate missing out on those special events. Congrats you two...and best of luck in Milwaukee!!!
Not much dancing for Momma...she's getting a little too top heavy haha!

Utah #2

FUN IN THE SUN!!!
We decided to try out "Cowabunga" water park in Draper and we loved it. The online reviews aren't great and I still can't figure out why. It's so kid friendly, safe, price is good, food is good, and it's decorated so cute. I would recommend it to anyone with a young family.
We were also lucky enough to be in Layton for Grandpa Jim's work party at the Roy City water park. My kids love being with their grandparents and love the water too so that was a perfect evening for them.

Utah #1

Peck Family Summer Vacation!!!
Many of you know that my grandparents have always been very generous and have spoiled us with some great vacations. This year they gifted all of us with a trip to the Reid Family Dude Ranch in Utah. It was a great time and I would recommend it to anyone. The altitude got to all of the Southerners who had traveled home, but that was really my only complaint. The property was gorgeous, activities were family friendly, and being surrounded by my loved ones is never a bad thing.
I'm not even kidding when I say I took almost 600 pics, so here are just a few of my favorites!
We definitely felt the absence of my Grandma Mare but I'm sure she was laughing and dancing right along with us.
We love you Papa!!!

We're heading home for about 3 weeks and we can't wait. The kids have been counting down since school got out. We love the Utah summer nights and can't wait to spend them with family and friends. See you all real soon!!!
