Mother's Day weekend Tournament
Each boy presented their MOMS with a rose after the game. I love this very sweet, very handsome ball player of mine!!!

Ryleigh's T-Ball season has come to an end. This was her first year playing-she did great and had a wonderful time. She was always the first one (and only girl) out on the field in baseball ready position. She took T-Ball very serious, but if you know Ryleigh well, you know that her very favorite part was the treats after the game of course.

Ryleigh's "Three Piggy Opera" &
Kindergarten Graduation Day
Ryleigh receiving her Kindergarten graduation diploma. She was also asked to lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. She did so good. She is super shy at school and a chatter box at home so this was a big deal for her.
Ryleigh was blessed to have Mrs. Lavelle for her teacher. We adore her!!!! She's one of the best teachers any of our kids have had. Such a good teacher that she's actually a Facebook friend haha!!! Ryleigh was lucky enough to be in a class with way more girls than boys--although she's kind of our "boy crazy" girl so she probably would have opted for the other way around.
At our school the kindergartners put on an annual "Three Piggy Opera"--a musical to the story of the "Three Little Pigs". Ryleigh played the grandma pig and even had her own little solo. We were so proud of her. I think my stomach didn't quit hurting until she was done. I was so impressed and she's got a great little voice. If you ever want your own personal performance, just call her up--She loves to sing for people!!!! The program was ended with a small reception and lots of picture taking. I was asked to make piggy cupcakes and I think they ended up turning out pretty cute.

Our baby girl is heading to 1st grade---WOW!!!

NO S-E-C FANS HERE!!!

Thanks Grandma MaryAnn
The RAINS came down and the FLOODS came up!!!

(one reason why I will never stop blogging-it hit me strong that it's important to keep journaling our family memories online)

As you all know the South has been hit hard by tornadoes and thunderstorms the past couple of weeks. We had 4 straight days of rain and flooding in our neighborhood, 8 feet high. The tornado sirens went off for 3 days and I can honestly say this time around I was pretty worried. When you hear the weather man mention the town you live in over and over again you begin to panic and wonder if you're prepared-which I'm not!!! Luckily through all of the mess, the only damage we received was a small amount of water that came up (through the concrete) into our bedroom. In most cases I would have been irritated but all we could do was thank our Heavenly Father that this was all that happened. Our thoughts and prayers are still going out to those hit hard in our neighboring state of Alabama.
