HALL OF FAME LITTLE ROCK 2/13

The girls and I had a great time at our first away dance competition.  We made the short road trip to Little Rock and danced all weekend long....I don't know who comes out more exhausted, the moms or the dancers???  It was so fun to spend some alone time with just Cara and Ryleigh.  Their company did great and took top studio.  I love watching my girls dance-They're both beautiful dancers. They both have their different strengths which has been so really fun to watch.  We had a wonderful time, made some new friends, and great memories!!

 DISTRICT CHAMPS

Carson's middle school team had an excellent season and came out district champs.  Carson started the season off with an injury so he had to come in strong and prove himself (once again) once he was cleared to play.  And that he did.....he never fails to succeed and play hard.  It's obvious that the talent in Memphis is first rate.  Carson has some of the toughest competition in the nation right here in his back yard.  We're not sure how long he'll be able to hang with some of these inner city Memphis boys but one things for sure....he gives it his all, gives his coaches everything he's got and loves the game.  Can't wait to see what the future holds for him in basketball.

These families were all lucky enough (or not so lucky) to be my guinea pigs.  I'm excited about this new adventure.  Here are a few of my favs!!!!

OUR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY WAS COMING TO AN END BUT BEFORE WE LEFT WE HAD A FEW MORE MEMORIES TO FIT IN........

 We had to show Carson what a REAL workout was and he soon discovered we were right.  He didn't even know he had some of those muscles haha.  Ryleigh was amazed by the icicle that was her size. 

 My Mom treated us to a night at the "Osmonds".   It was awesome!!!  I recommend it to anyone.  It was fun to run into lots of old friends too....Utah is definitely it's own small world. 

 Having dinner with the Gingold's was a wonderful treat.  All of us all back together again....Just picking up where we left off.  I love this family!!!

 We ended up going to the new sporting goods store Scheel's 3 times.  We were hooked.  It's an awesome store with lots of fun things for the kids.

We didn't do much to celebrate the NEW YEAR since we were leaving early the next morning but we did get to spend it with Grandma and Grandpa and that made it extra special.

We're lucky enough to have both sets of Grandparents in Utah making things extra special for the Holidays.  We did lots of fun things like celebrate Christmas not once, but twice!!!  We got to play in the snow, decorate cookies and even sing to some special people at the old folks home.  What a rewarding and new experience for the kids, one I hope they'll remember always.  It was so fun to have most of the family in Layton.  We don't get to see each other often so we cherish those memories.

For Christmas my parents got us an adults only trip to Hawaii.  Excited doesn't even explain how we feel.  We can't wait to be sitting on the beach, relaxing, soaking up the sun....oh and did I mention ADULTS ONLY!!!!!  September can't come soon enough YIPPEE!!!!!!
