We always look forward to getting dressed up and going to the Cottonwood Club for our Peck family Christmas party.  One thing we weren't all excited about was getting family pics done this year so we decided to stop at my grandpa's new house and take pics by his beautiful tree.  I took the pics and Dave wasn't around so my family sat out this time around and Reiley too. I think they turned out pretty good.  I must say I do have a very beautiful family!!!!

CHRISTMAS IN UTAH 2012
I have tons of pictures as I always do when I get together with my family.  One of the greatest blessings I have received in my life is to come from such a large family.  I wouldn't trade it for anything.  We had tons of stuff planned for our Christmas vacation but I felt that it was important that we visited temple square shortly after we had arrived.  You definitely take the beauty of it all for granted when you move away.  I loved seeing my kids faces light up as they saw temple square decorated in Christmas lights for the first time.  It really is a little heaven on earth!!!  The next day we headed up American Fork canyon for a huge family sledding party.  My kids love this and thankfully Grandma Shauna always makes sure it happens.  There's nothing better than being surrounded by mother nature, family and good food.

 CHRISTMAS DANCE RECITAL

I look forward to the girls Christmas recital every year.  It means I finally get to see where all my time and money has gone and usually I'm very satisfied.  Both girls love to dance and are both beautiful dancers.  Competition season is about to begin and I think they'll do great.  They're both so stinkin cute---I'll definitely keep em!!!!!
KNOTTY OR NICE?????
Evan is crazy little guy. Most of you who have talked to me even once  would think I would answer knotty but he really is a sweet little boy......when he's at home with just his mama.  This was the first year (at the ward party) that he decided he would give Santa a try.  It didn't last long but at least he knows who the jolly old man is now.
WE NOT HAVE A TEENAGER!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe the day has come that I have a thirteen year old.  I know Dave and I are about to get paybacks for all of the knotty things we ever did....and I'm scared to death!!!  I feel like I only have a few more years to do everything RIGHT-no pressure!!  Carson is a great kid with lots of wonderful talents but most of all he has a testimony of the gospel and loves his family lots.  He still thinks Dave and I are pretty cool and we think the same of him.
His party didn't turned out as planned.  We were supposed to host a big football game with lots of friends at the school but the weather didn't cooperate so we threw together a last minute IHOP breakfast with some of his closest buddies.  I love this teenage boy of mine and can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

 COLLIERVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE
Thanks to my good friend Katie, we got to enjoy the parade in style with lots of goodies, hot chocolate and front row seats.  It pays to know someone who lives along the parade route.  I can't believe with all of the things my kids are involved in that we weren't in the parade this year....but I loved it!  It was so nice to sit back and enjoy watching the other kids and families in our community.  I love my cute little town of Collierville.

 CaraAnn turns 9!!!!!

Cara has been planning her party since she turned 8 last year....such a girl thing!!!!!  Her friends met us for lunch at Chick Fil A and then we headed off to a cake decorating party.  A local baker here bakes the cakes, provides all decorating and frosting, and picks up the mess at the end-perfect!!!  The kids had a blast and were on a never-ending sugar high for hours to come.  Cara has lots of great friends. She's definitely not our shy girl.  Can't believe my girl is nine-yikes!!!!!
