Castaway Cay~Day 2

Fun on the ship!!!

The Disney cruise has so much to do on board that you never really have to leave unless you want.  The activities they had for the kids were endless.  The childcare was great, the club counselors were so good and the favorite for all was the "Mad Scientist" lab.  The kids got to make real flubber!!!  The entertainment on this ship was just as good if not better than any Broadway I've ever seen.  I really was blown away.

PIRATE NIGHT 

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves.  What a fun night to remember.  The family definitely got an A+ on costumes.  Everyone aboard the ship loved that this large of a group all dressed up.  We had a great dinner, followed by an awesome show.  Jack Sparrow swung across the top of the ship out over the ocean which was pretty spectacular.  The night ended with a fireworks show over the water.  Disney never dissapoints!!!!

Pool time!!

Who couldn't get used to this like everyday.

I loved that everywhere I looked on the top deck, I could find a loved one. Is this not the coolest ship ever.  I mean who can eat ice cream and go down a water slide overlooking the ocean at midnight....that's right US!!!!

Welcome to the Bahamas!!!

We spent half of the day wandering around Nassau and ended up at the one and only Senor Frogs~We thought we would corrupt the kids for a while and I think it worked.  Like any other beach bar there was dancing, drinking, drinking, drinking.....However we did get some yummy nachos and an amazing dish of homemade guacamole.  We didn't stay out at Nassau long but we did get a chance to look over the water and see the amazing "Atlantis".  We definitely added that to the bucket list.  We had fun just hanging with our Hooper clan and getting a little culture in.

Formal Night

Grandma Shauna, Aunt Tracy and Aunt Tommi came dressed as the three fairy godmothers...the kids loved it and everyone on board thought it was pretty cool too.  Of course all of our little fairies and princesses (the great granddaughters) looked very cute too. It's always fun to see everyone in their nicest.  The whole family looked very handsome!!!
