Cara's second grade PTA performance

Cara with her best buddy Tyler Collier.  It's funny, as the years go by these two still remain just as close as they were when we moved here 6 years ago.  They've always got each other's backs!!!

Cara in "Going Bananas"-Love this pic!!
 Ryleigh's 1st grade PTA performance
Every grade performs at least once a year at the PTA meetings--really it's just a way to get the parents there, because we all know how much we love those meetings-NOT!   First grade performed songs all about bedtime and waking up...that expalins the pj's of course.  Ryleigh started the program by welcoming the parents....she is so funny, she was on the front row totally rocking out with her hand motions.  This girl loves to entertain and how could you not love looking at the beautiful face of hers.....of course she wouldn't be Ryleigh without her long blonde hair tied up with big old bows haha!!

This little lawn mower has been a LIFESAVER!!!!  Evan definitely loves his power tools-minus the power of course.  As you can tell from the middle picture~the Southern heat has kicked in.  It's May and already almost 100 degrees---It's gonna be a HOT ONE!!!
 Easter with the other Rees'

For the past couple of years we have spent Easter with Dave's brother, Scott's family.  It has worked out perfect.  We go to Atlanta one year and they switch off by coming out to Memphis.  It's always so much fun.  Scott and Kim are super laid back like Dave and I so it makes entertaining so easy.  We spent a day in Oxford which has become my new favorite getaway spot.  The kids had a blast together as they always do. Blake loves being around Carson and Sara around the girls and of course visa versa.  We were so glad we got to spend the holiday with our Atlanta peeps!!!

Guess who's 18months and ready for nursery????
Evan is really a good baby until we walk through those church doors every Sunday....for our sanity this was perfect timing. So far so good and of course treats are always a bonus!!!
SURPRISE!!!!!!
We are some lucky dogs around here....For Valentine's my Mom decided to fly us out to Montana and we decided to hide it from the kids until we got there. So I picked them up from school and told them we were headed out to the airport for a surprise vacation. They made a few guesses as to where we were going like...the beach, Utah, Madagascar & Australia haha!!! Well the girls obviously can read so when we got to Minneapolis for our layover they noticed the word BILLINGS on the board at the gate and they FREAKED out!!!! They put it all together and they were so excited...we were on our way to Billings to be with their cousins, uncles, aunts & grandparents for the week. Not just the Warnick's but Grandma surprised everyone!!!
This was our first time meeting Miss Emma...she is such a doll. We got to attend her blessing and Carter's baptism. So glad we were there to celebrate with the Warnick's for their special weekend. We don't get to do that too often anymore.
THE REEF
So Montana is just a wee bit chilly so they have the coolest waterpark there that is all indoors. The kids loved it!!!
Grubbing!!! Gotta love the free continental breakfasts.
Saying goodbye to the SnoShack with Alyson & a little mall action. Not much else to do in Billings haha!!
Surprise #2--Grandma MaryAnn picked us up from out layover in Salt Lake and we decided it would be fun to surprise Grandma Jim at his office---I'm pretty sure he was surprised!! It was fun to get to see them even if it was only for a few hours.

We had a great little Valentine's getaway. Dave and Carson didn't make it out with us but they enjoyed their "man" time together. Thank you to Grandma Shauna for the awesome surprise. The girls will never forget it!!!
